Corporate housing near Málaga TechPark for employees, consultants and project teams
What HR and project leads should look for when housing people who work at Málaga TechPark for several months, and why many choose to live in the city rather than next to the park.

Housing people who work at Málaga TechPark
Málaga TechPark, the technology park in Campanillas on the north-western edge of the city, is one of the main business parks in southern Spain and home to a large number of technology companies. Companies based there regularly bring in people for a defined period: a new hire relocating from abroad, a consultant for a three-month implementation, two specialists for six months, or a project team whose numbers change as the work progresses. Finding office space for them is rarely the hard part. Finding somewhere they can actually live for several months usually is.
A hotel works for a few nights. For a stay of several months, the employee needs corporate housing near Málaga TechPark in the practical sense: a furnished home with a kitchen, laundry, a reliable private internet connection and somewhere to work, on a contract the company can sign and invoice against.
Living in the city, working at the park
The park is a workplace, not a neighbourhood. Many people placed there for several months prefer to live in Málaga itself, where shops, transport, restaurants and the historic centre are part of daily life, and commute out to work.
Palacete 10 is on Calle Actriz Rosario Pino in a residential part of central Málaga, 19 minutes and 17 km from Málaga TechPark. The same address is a 15-minute walk from the historic centre, 10 minutes from María Zambrano station and 16 minutes from the airport, with public transport, supermarkets, cafés and pharmacies a minute away on foot. The street is residential rather than tourist-oriented, which matters more over three months than it does over three nights. Each residence has one secure parking space on site, which suits anyone who will drive to the park.
What the residence needs to provide
For a multi-month placement, the checklist is short and concrete. The residence should be furnished and ready to live in on arrival, with a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, heating and air conditioning, and its own Wi-Fi network rather than a shared connection. There should be a proper place to work, which in practice means either a separate room or a dedicated shared space. Access should not depend on someone being available to hand over keys.
At Palacete 10 each residence comes furnished with Bolia interiors and premium beds, a fully equipped kitchen, an in-unit washer and dryer, air conditioning and heating, and its own secure Wi-Fi network on the building's fibre. Entry is keyless, so arrivals do not depend on a key handover. Residents also have a work suite in the building, open 24 hours a day, which is useful when calls with colleagues in other time zones fall outside office hours. Toro, the accessible residence, also has a private home office.
International hires and new arrivals
TechPark companies recruit internationally, and an employee arriving from abroad already has a long list of things to sort out in the first weeks: registration, banking, healthcare, schools in some cases, and learning how to get around a new city. Asking them to furnish a flat, open utility accounts and compete in the private rental market at the same time adds pressure at exactly the wrong moment.
A furnished residence for the first months takes housing off that list. Utilities are managed by the operator, the internet is already active, and the employee can start work and look for a permanent home, if they need one, once they know the city.
Consultants and changing project teams
Project staffing rarely stays fixed. A team might start with two people, grow to four for the busiest phase, and finish with one. When every person has a different landlord, each change means a new search, a new contract and another invoice for finance to process.
Palacete 10 has five residences in one building, operated by one company. A company can take one residence, several, or all five for exclusive use, under a single corporate agreement with one point of contact. For repeat needs, a framework agreement lets the company secure residences quickly as projects start, under terms agreed in advance.
What to check before you book
Before committing to any supplier, HR and procurement teams should be able to answer these questions:
- Who is the contracting entity, and who issues the invoice?
- What exactly is included in the monthly price: utilities, internet, parking, any services?
- Does the contract reflect the real reason the person is in Málaga and the real length of the assignment?
- What happens if the assignment is extended, shortened or the occupant changes?
- Who does the employee contact during the stay, and how quickly do they respond?
The third question has become more important. Since 8 October 2026, Spanish law requires temporary residential leases to state the real reason for the stay and generally limits them to between 31 days and 12 months; the rules came in by decree-law and still have to be validated by Congress, so check the position when you sign. Our blog covers the new rules in more detail.
At Palacete 10, the contract is company to company with Vamoz Marbella SL, the owner, on the Costa del Sol since 2013. The company receives one monthly VAT-compliant invoice, and a Spanish bank account is not required.
